On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate FNF?: Which was the best match: What was the most exciting/fun point: What did you like the best about the show: What surprised you about the show: Best segment: Best commentary spot: Best wrestling spot: Negative thoughts: Personal comments: Suggestions:
Which was the best match: Knox vs. J Mont - I thought Eric did a great job capturing the chaotic nature of the idea pitched. I also really enjoyed my own match.
What was the most exciting/fun point: Pretty much everything from the beginning of Never//More vs. The Montuoris to the post-main event segment. Pure insanity, Attitude Era dumpster fire goodness.
What did you like the best about the show: How the big angle in the beginning spun out into the chaos to end the show. Just a big mess that got a lot of players involved in a big way, setting up all kinds of different avenues for the future.
What surprised you about the show: Gangsters of Christ out in the first round. Having read the RPs, I agree with the decision made but I was secretly hoping to meet the Gangsters during the tournament try to get my win back from last year. Great match either way but congratulations to Stone and Knight. Now we both need to make it to the finals so JNK vs. Devlin Knight can happen twice in the span of a month. Best segment: I really enjoyed the Tony Savage promo. He's a character I've seen around quite a bit on the Twitter machine but I'm not really familiar with him or the handler so it was cool to see him fleshed out here.
Best commentary spot:
Napier: I thought Chevi made Tahoe?
Markson: What are you talking about?
Napier: Her name is Honda Tahoe.
Markson: Oh come on.
Best wrestling spot: "Junko ducks the haymaker and shoves JMont from behind sending him staggering into the arms of the rising Knox, who catches JMont in a standing fireman’s and goes right Into The Void (GTS). Knox drops on top of JMont for the and Junko drops and makes a quick count."
Negative thoughts: None.
Personal comments: I enjoyed my match with Cable. He's a dude I've heard about but have never interacted with IC or OOC before this match was booked so it was cool to bounce Junko off of him, win or lose. I really liked his RP and, even though I was very happy with my own, I had doubts going in about how this one would turn out. Also, getting to work on a segment with J Mont is always a pleasure and getting to involve Knox, Vaughn, and Amber was cool, too. It's been a lot of fun getting to stretch out a bit more during this go-round. Not being burned out to the point that I have nothing left is a big help in that regard.
