On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate Uncivil War?: 7
Which was the best match: I'll say 5 on 5 just cuz Team TPW won.
What was the most exciting/fun point: Winning the 5 on 5 match...
What did you like the best about the show: Winning the 5 on 5 match
What surprised you about the show: The no contest between American/Intercontinental champions
Best segment: XL & J Mont's with Cholo's a close second.
Best commentary spot:
Hahn Yamamoto: Soto o miru!
Ultimo Rōnin: Karera wa watashi no puraimu o fumeiyo ni shimashita.
Napier: What are they saying?
Diamond: I think one of them is mad that his Prime got spilled.
Napier: I know the feeling.
Best wrestling spot:
Knox pulls Enigma into position when Enigma fires a hook to the ribs of Knox. Suddenly, there is an explosion from the camera of the cameraman on the apron filming the action. The explosion shoots a giant ball of fire and some sort of liquid into the face and head of both Knox and Enigma. The cameraman throws his camera down, pulls off his hat, and a fake wig to reveal it is Peter Vauhn. Vaughn hops off the apron as Mac rolls into the ring. Mac staggers to the corner and steps onto the bottom rope under Knox. Mac hooks Knox for a powerbomb, while Knox still has Enigma hooked. Mac pulls them down in the tower of doom powerbomb-superplex combo, sending both Knox and Enigma through the tables.
Negative thoughts: What the hell isa bippy?
Personal comments: Good mini-PPV, fast read. Congrats to the writers for putting this show together and thanks to my partners in Team TPW, it wasn't perfect, but we got the job done. *claps*
Suggestions: Even though the intro try to make it seem like this huge PPV, and being a sold out crowd of over 100K, but still for some reason didn't feel like that big of an event... or like a real war with bad blood... I know one of the Marshalls was involved in the tag match... But maybe a promo from either fed head, maybe a face off... or maybe they being part of the 5 on 5 to really make it feel like a war... I dunno... Not sure what it could really be. Maybe because only 5 matches, very few segments. So more of that? Or maybe because I feel like the promotions are more like sister promotions with so many cross-over talent, so it should be sort more of a partnered event like AEW/NJPW put together forbidden door then a 'war'. Anyway, I think I've said enough.
