"My Hero" by Foo Fighters
Entrance Description: As the pulsating rhythm of "My Hero" by Foo Fighters reverberates throughout the arena, a chorus of boos rises from the crowd. The once-beloved El D now walks to the ring amidst a sea of disdain and animosity. His trademark mask gleams under the spotlight, but there's a newfound arrogance in his stride. With each step, he absorbs the negative energy, relishing in the reaction he elicits.
The audience's jeers fuel his transformation, a metamorphosis from a fan-favorite to a despised figure. El D locks eyes with fans who once cheered him, now wearing expressions of disappointment and betrayal. Ignoring their disapproval, he maintains a wicked grin, basking in the power he holds over their emotions. As he ascends the ring steps, the boos crescendo, drowning out the music for a moment. El D steps through the ropes, entering the squared circle as a changed man, ready to unleash his newfound malevolence upon his opponents. The atmosphere crackles with tension as The Scum of the Earth takes his place, embodying the darkness that now resides within him.
Short Bio: El Diablo Blanco has spent the last 20+ years in backyard wrestling. It wasn’t until 2020 that El D needed to try and take a stab at pro wrestling in efforts to put food on the table at home for the Wifey and two Little Diablitos he has at home. The first promotions to take a chance on El D were Blood and Nations Promotions and EPIC. During his time in EPIC, he caught the eye of fast food company Taco Bell. El Diablo Blanco became the spokesman for Taco Bell’s new burrito, the Flamin’ Diablo Burrito; named after El D set himself on fire before hitting the Feeling Froggy Splash. Once EPIC closed its doors, El Diablo had a choice to either return to his 9-5 job or look for a new company to work for. That’s when El D found OATH and took the pledge.
Over the course of a year in OATH, El Diablo Blanco was able to gain a massive following amongst the Canadian crowd and become one of the most beloved performers in the company; despite few not getting how a backyarder could gain a following. Along the way El D won both the Livewire and Tabula Rasa Titles respectively. As Tabula Rasa Champion, the stipulation for titles matches were up to the holder which created “El D’s House of Fun” in which the ring is surrounded on two sides by trampolines and climbing ropes hanging from the ceiling. No DQ, no count out but falls must take place in the ring.
As OATH closed its doors, El D continued to strive to make a name for himself. Aligned with 1WM, El D looked to keep his schedule busy by taking on MHW; a company he has seen so many stars develop over the years. In the time spent in MHW, El D became a 2x Phoenix Champion; the company’s second tier title. As his career continued to progress he was invited to three Roth Invitational Tournaments; winning one of them. Born out of Roth, El D joined PWV where he is the current Spirit of the Fight Champion.
Common Moves: snap suplex, body slam, spine buster, springboard tornado ddt, basic move set.
Signature Moves: The Backyard Elbow (The People’s Elbow), Stump Piledriver (Cactus Jack Piledriver)
Finishing Moves: Feeling Froggy (Top Rope Splash)
Height: 5’ 10”
Weight: 217 lbs
