Thunder Pro Wrestling is the brainchild of long-time star and pro wrestling legend “Thundering” Terry Marshall. Marshall has spent the majority of his life in the wrestling business, and now that he is retired, is an empty nester and his wife is Mayor of Huntington, WV Marshall finds himself needing something to do. So, Marshall started his own wrestling company.
Thunder Pro is based in Huntington, WV, but moves to Clearwater, FL in the winter because Marshall is a snowbird, you know old folks hate the cold. TPW is trying to be something different and fun. TPW is about originality in storylines and storytelling, and we expect the same from roleplays.
Keep it realistic, but also zany, work with what fits your character. If your character is a monster do monster stuff, if they are crazy do crazy stuff, if they are uptight and a snob, well that sounds boring but a good writer can make it work. Just be original, and entertaining. I want to see something different and I will try to deliver something different for you as well.
Schedule:
TPW will be returning in 2023 with a bi-weekly schedule, and PPV's evert 2-3 months.
Grading/RP Rules:
TPW does not work on a "pont system" like several other feds do and/or have. If there is a point system people write to get points and don't just attempt to write something good or that they enjoy.
RPs will be graded on originality. There will be about a 75/25 balance on the story (or CD) vs promo. Both are important and needed to be original, but a good story and ok promo will beat an ok story and a good promo.
Grammar: will play a small part, but "I ain't no" English major so if it jumps out to me as bad grammar then it needs some work.
Language, keep it TV-PG13. I have had characters that curse like sailors, but I censor it. If you choose not to censor it wont DQ you, but if every other word is a curse word then it shows a lack of vocabulary and originality.
Sexual Situations: No sex scenes in TPW.
