Wrestler's Name - Larry Tact
Height - 6'6"
Weight - 260 lbs
Entrance Theme - "In the Face of Evil" by Magic Sword
Custom Ring Entrance
"In the Face of Evil" by Magic Sword reverberates over the PA. Row after row, aisle to aisle, the THUNDERAMANIACS rise to their feet throughout the arena and cheer, the beating heart of TPW about to burst!
As the second, third, and fourth chords of the theme reverberate, three spotlights shine down, one over another: A green circle, a gold triangle over it, and a crimson line intersecting the other two. On the Terry-Tron, his monikers cycle through one after another:
From there, the beat triggers the house lights to illuminate the figure of the former International Champion himself, Larry Tact, standing on stage, the spotlight glinting off his shaved head.
Larry whips his hair up and trudges to one side of the stage, firing up the fans by throwing his arms in the air at them. He then goes to the other side of the stage and beats his chest before opening his arms to the reaction of the THUNDERAMANIACS, who hoot and holler back. "This is our company!" Larry bellows as his arms point around at the crowd. He then returns to center stage and makes his way down to the ring, pounding fists with some fans at ringside before hanging onto the middle rope and pulling himself up onto the apron.
He turns and faces the stands, opening his arms up and making a ‘T’ shape, puffing his chest out. Wiping his boots on the apron, Tact proceeds into the ring. He climbs a turnbuckle and again holds his arms out. “WE ARE TPW STRONG!!” he exclaims to another pop before descending and making his final preparations for the match.

Why is your character a wrestler - At the start of his career, Larry was determined to prove his parents wrong and show he had the skills to live as a wrestler, and that the career path itself was viable. Over time, while he achieved that goal, Larry found that the sport of wrestling is often marred and sullied by bureaucracy, underhanded dealings, and unsavory colleagues. From that point on, his vision of wrestling was two-fold: Master his craft, including doing what he needed to assure his success - by whatever means that called for. Larry has no qualms bending or decimating the rules, and bucking establishment in order to achieve his agenda.
Wrestling Style/Resemblance - Earlier in his career, a pure technician, then a hybrid power/technical style. Since his return, Larry has leaned more into power wrestling to maximize endurance since technical wrestling is a large energy spend.

Brief History:
Larry Tact has been apart of numerous promotions over the years, always bringing his outspoken opinions and sharp tongue along. He's never had a problem clashing with others – whether it be in the ring or on the ‘stick’ – and carries himself with the confidence he can tangle with any contender. Larry doesn't care much about other people's status or accolades because he's thrown out respect for the ‘status quo’ in wrestling; and trust of others is nonexistent. He seeks to walk his own path, make his name wherever he goes, and achieve his agenda at all costs. Depending on a given promotion's hierarchy, this ruthless attitude has either garnered praise or sown discord in the ranks.
After running through the Indie wrestling circuit, Tact debuted on the pro circuit and became a title holder well within his first year, and a World Champion not long after his one-year mark. He was arrogant, wealthy, and saw wrestling as a pursuit of his passion for the sport. He trained with several mentors and peers, intermingling his technician's mindset and skill of the craft with power wrestling, making full use of his size and strength. Larry prides himself on his work ethic in the ring – putting a substantial amount of time into training and preparation.
In 2021, after a six years’ hiatus, Larry reemerged in Level Up Wrestling. He is determined to push his limits to new heights and reclaim his status as a top champion. He has taken on all challengers, as well as stirred up a couple rivalries on his own. Larry has proclaimed himself the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of Level Up thanks to his having competed in a wide a variety of match types in his time with the promotion. In the latter part of '21, Larry assembled a group behind the name 'Game Changers,' and they began running roughshod through the ranks of the company. At the biggest event of the year, Final Fantasy '21, Larry defeated Duncan Shepard and claimed his Level Up Power Championship, his first title since returning to the ring. After a record-setting reign with the title, Larry met his match in the form of Vhodka Black, who since then has become a heated rival of his despite their having a single match.
Following that match, Level Up went on hiatus and Larry was forced to stew in his bruised pride. At the start of 2023, he reemerged to compete in the CCPE Vs The World super show. Not long after, “The Bull of the North” Buster Gloves recruited him to partner up in Thunder Pro Wrestling, the first wrestling company Larry had set foot in since November 2022. While dethroning the historic Duo’s Champions, the Malvados, was not in the cards for Critical Hit! it did lead to another achievement. Larry and Buster decided to accept an open challenge by the International Champion, Chris Page. At the Friday Night Fury of the match, it was revealed both Buster and Larry would take on Chris Page in a triple threat match. In the end, Larry managed to take advantage of their gamut and win the International Championship. It was the first World Heavyweight title Larry had won since returning in 2021, and he found a new attitude as a result of the title reign.
The Cabal formed and went after Larry, who vowed to battle the Cabal for how they took out TPW Owner, 'Thundering' Terry Marshall. Not only that, but Alexander Marshall, who stood in for TM after being injured by Peter Vaughn at RetroMania 2023, ended up one of the founders of the Cabal, leaving Larry alone to represent the spirit of TPW that Terry built the company on. While he managed to successfully retain the title versus Marcus Ka'Derrion and 'Chris Page, the odds continued to stack up as the Cabal grew. Larry would drop the International Championship to Peter Vaughn at the Bohemian Bash, leaving him back in the chase after the title, and the issues unsettled with the Cabal.
