On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate FNF?: Which was the best match: What was the most exciting/fun point: What did you like the best about the show: What surprised you about the show: Best segment: Best commentary spot: Best wrestling spot: Negative thoughts: Personal comments: Suggestions:
Which was the best match: I’m a sucker for tag matches (wonder why I play a tag team…), so as much as it’s a bit egotistical to say the one I was in… Lights Out v Influence.
What was the most exciting/fun point: Chris Page breaking up the first match - nice way to deal with two no-shows and always fun to break up the traditional match/segment/match structure, flow from one into the other etc.
What did you like the best about the show: Nice varied card, felt like a bit of everything, but still quite classic wrestling show.
What surprised you about the show: N/A - no huge surprises (beyond the usual finding out match results etc) but that’s not a bad thing at all.
Best segment: Malvados/Slater & Bane felt very classic wrestling show segment, nice buildup. Eavan Maloney’s was solid character work, enjoyed. Looking forward to Junko/Skye as a matchup!
Best commentary spot: “Markson: What an exchange. These women are ruthless. Napier: They keep getting kicked in the face like that and they’ll be toothless.” Love a good, kinda lame pun.
Best wrestling spot: "Claudia catches her with an overhead belly-to-belly, but Alessia performs a handstand out of it, hitting the ropes and dropping back into an elbow drop on Claudia.” Always particularly like spots that feel not just like a list of moves but actually like they work in a 3D space, chaining them together etc. Would love to see someone try to pull this off IRL, though I feel like it’s a recipe for broken wrists…
Negative thoughts: None, really. Shame about no-shows of course but things happen.
Personal comments: Really fun show, nice and varied but still felt like a classic night of wrestling. Thanks to everyone involved!
