"I swear, I'm going to hurt this man.." Todrick Ramsey sighed as she picked up a pair of socks that no doubt belonged to Austin. Inside of their home in 'Jersey' Manhattan, New York, Todrick was doing some cleaning. The twins were having a nap and she was using the time to pick up toys and Austin's laziness that lingered around the house. "What in the hell?" She stops as she passes the front window of the living room.
It was nice outside. Midday. The sidewalk out front led right to the street in front of their home. Standing in the middle of the street stood something that caught her eye.
"Austin!" She calls without taking her eyes off what she is seeing. She gets no response. "Austin Ramsey! Get your ass in here!" The rise in her voice traveled the walls of their home and in no time at all, the slapping of bare feet came running.
"Yes my love?" He sounded very guilty like he knew he had done something but wasn't quite sure what. He jogged over to her standing at the window. "What did I do now and how can I achieve your forgiveness?"
Todrick turns and faces her Husband. Giving him a stern glare because she knew he had done something that she hadn't yet discovered and he was almost telling on himself. A self snitch.
"You're reaaal guilty right now but we'll come back to that.." She tells him as her eyes move once again to the window. "What is that?" Motioning for him to see what she is seeing. Stepping closer to the window, Austin casually peers out and smiles.
"That's a lot of Juice Boxes!" His voice was pitched with excitement. Outside was a plastic wrapped stack of Grape Juice Boxes. It was an entire crate of them like you would find in the warehouse where they get shipped out from.
"You ordered that?!" Todrick wasn't as excited.
"No! I don't know where they came fro-" He cuts himself off as he sees someone outside come into view. Someone he recognizes immediately. "What the hell is he doing here?"
"Who?" Todrick peeks past Austin and looks. She scoffs. "I swear, you two are gonna drive me to kill one of you!" As Todrick turns and walks away, the man outside howls out in a yell.
"AUUUUSTIIIN!"
That man was obviously Jason Cashe. Did you expect someone else? Standing next to the year supply of Juice Boxes. Cashe rips the plastic and pulls a single juice box free.
"AUUUSTIIN RAMSEY! I'VE COME FOR YOU!!"
Pause.
Let me give you some background story. Austin Ramsey is who helped Cashe get into shape about two years back. Before the tattoos. They became friends and over time, became like Brothers. So much so that when Todrick and Austin welcomed their Twins, Diana and Dominick to the world. Cashe was named Godfather. A muuuuch cooler one than that ass hat, Samuel.
Pranks became a thing between the two brothers. At first they plotted against their significant others. At one time including Sebastian Bryce Everett and Sloane Taylor in a prank. Then, somewhere along the line. Austin and Cashe started pranking each other. Snitching on the other so that they would get caught and in trouble. This brewed the feud. This created a beef.
Cashe dodged hanging out with Austin. If not for Todrick and the Twins, these two would have cut ties with each other at this point. So it was a fight they both anticipated would come at some point. Oh and Austin LOVES Grape Juice Boxes and his favorite Football team are the Giants who play and practice in New Jersey but claim New York. Hence the play on location!
Now back to the scene..
Austin nods as he stares out at Cashe. Slipping into some shoes, Austin does some stretching. His neck sounds like a deck of cards being shuffled as he rolls it around. Smiling, he heads for the front door.
Snatching the doorknob, he unlocks the bolt and twists the handle, pulling the door open. He flinches. "Aaagh!" Austin throws his hands up prematurely. It was Josslynn Spencer. Cashe's girlfriend, he knew her and knew her, much like Todrick was tired of these two fools bickering. She shoves past Austin and enters the house.
"Toddy!" Josslynn calls out. She came to see Todrick and the babies, not these two fools beefing. Austin turned and watched as Todrick appeared and the two ladies embraced in a hug.
"AUUUUSTIIIN!! YOU'RE GONNA WANNA SEE THIS!"
Cashe's voice again calls out. Now seeing Austin in the doorway, he knew he was being heard. Austin slowly turns back to the voice calling him. Challenging him to come outside. Stepping out of the house, he pulls the door closed behind him. The midday breeze spread over his face, it felt good outside. Clear skies, not too hot, not too cold.
The perfect weather for a fight.
The good vibe of the forecast was short lived as Austin gasped! "Whoa! What are you doing?!" He takes a long stride forward, reaching his arms, wanting to reach Cashe in time as Cashe begins dumping gasoline over the stack of juice boxes. "Stop!"
As soon as Cashe tosses the empty container aside, Austin reaches him and crashes a balled up fist into the side of his jaw.
"Oh you motherfucker!" Cashe responds by shoving Austin back. "Come on!" Waving his hands for Austin to bring it. Both slid into their fighting stance and it was ON!
Austin roars in complete confidence from the first punch. Todrick's 'Man Child' swung again. Cashe slaps his second attempt away, wrapping up behind him, lifting and german suplexing Austin onto the concrete!
They both pop up, adrenaline leaping in volume. Austin swings, lands, Cashe follows up and returns the shot, cracking Austin to the cheek. They circle one another as neighbors peek out from their windows. A Car slowed to a stop and it was like they were watching a show at the Drive In.
"This is long overdue!" Cashe growls out. "You been needed your ass kicked!"
"Won't be you! Not today!" Austin cackles back. They both shoot forward and land simultaneously causing the other to stumble with well placed punches to the face. Cashe ducks a wide right from Austin, busting him with a heavy loaded shot to the ribs before ducking around behind him again. Spinning around, Austin elbows Cashe to the forehead. Throwing a snapping hook to keep momentum, Cashe blocks it with a forearm, using his right arm to lunge at Austin with an Elbow to the face that drops him to the street. "Aaggh!"
Cashe goes to pounce and lay into Austin with some ground n pound but Austin throws up a foot, catching Cashe to the midsection, Austin slides on the ground, hitting a spinning sweep to the side of Cashe's legs. Knocking his feet out from under him. Cashe slaps down onto his side. Shoving to get up but Austin gets up first, the faster of the two for sure. Austin drives forward with a knee to Cashe's face, blood spits from his mouth as he whips back and crashes to the pavement.
"I'll knock your Fuding teeth out, turn you back to the old you!" Austin shouts at a downed Cashe. "You done now?"
Hand to his mouth, Cashe looks at his fingers to see the blood from his lip. "You busted my lip, ho!"
"First blood bitch! You can apologize anytime you want!" As if saying sorry would end the beef. Austin was offering an olive branch. Nodding as he begins to shove off the ground. Cashe shot from a Sprinters knee, driving his shoulder into Austin's midsection, lifting him off his feet. "Aaaaggghh!" Austin roars as he drops short punches down against Cashe's back. It doesn't slow him down.
Cashe runs off the street carrying Austin over his shoulder and into the neighbor's yard they went. They arrived at their destination as Cashe slams Austin, spine first into the depths of a plastic Kiddie Pool. Water splashed everywhere as if a fat kid cannonballed in it.
"Ugh these kids pee in here!" Austin groans in disgust. Cashe doesn't pause or hesitate as he shoves Austin's head back so that his face submerges in the shallow water that remains in the pool. Gargling to get a breath of air, Austin pinches and punches, slaps, and claws at Cashe. Was Cashe trying to kill this man? He lets Austin up and his gasps for air seem to struggle. "What the Fudge, Jason?!"
Cashe leans back, letting go of Austin only to drive down with an elbow across the bridge of Austin's nose. Austin's head bounces off the pool floor as a cut forms on his nose. The blood spreads around and mixes with the water.
Now both of them have drawn blood.
"I'm calling the Police!" Screams an Elderly woman a few houses over. Austin snaps back at her like there was beef between them already.
"Mind your business, KAREN!"
Cashe turns to see the woman and she does fit the description of a Karen. The window of opportunity was open and Austin Ramsey took it by chopping Cashe to the throat with the space between his thumb and index finger. Cashe chokes, gags as he falls to his side, the pool begins to drain onto the lawn as the walls fall with Cashe. Austin stands up dripping with kiddie pool pee water. They both were drenched.
Spitting out what he could, Austin felt dirty from what he knew was in the water. Cashe began crawling and pulling himself back to the street. Digging into his pocket, he pulls free a BIC Lighter. He clears his throat still feeling the scratching pain of being chopped to it. "Damnit, you got my lighter wet!" Jason mumbles as he flicks away trying to get it to spark. Getting to his feet, he was set on setting the juice boxes aflame.
"Ohhh no you don't!" Austin says from behind as he rushes up to Cashe. Grabbing a handful of Cashe's beard and the back of his head, Austin snaps Cashe back and whips him down, back slamming across the edge of the curb at the side of the street.
"Aaaaaagggghhhh!!" Cashe arches and cries out in agony! Austin swift kicks him to the side as he lays over the curb. Stomping away at Cashe, Austin was still clearly mad about the pool.
"Field goal, bitch!" Austin announces as he shuffles away from Cashe only to lunge at him with a kick that would connect a 60 yard field goal. Cashe catches the foot, throws it to the left and punches up into the open window of Austin's groin! "Oohhhhh my balls!"
As Austin slaps against the concrete. Cashe begins looking for his lighter. He had dropped it. Dragging himself off of the curb, Cashe reaches his lighter and gives it a flick. A flame appears as does an excitement on his face. Shoving to his feet, Cashe moves back to the crate of juice boxes.
"Don't do it.." Austin pleads while still on the ground holding his man parts. "Put the lighter down!" Fighting the pain, Austin slowly gets to his feet.
"Fudge these juice boxes!" Cashe responds but never turns to face Austin. His lighter finds flame again and Cashe reaches down and touches the gasoline soaked stack. It ignites in flame and the heat quickly intensifies causing Cashe to step away from its growth.
"Motherfucker!" The scratching of Austin's feet scraping on the concrete as he sprints towards Cashe. With a running start, Austin leaps and dropkicks Cashe from behind! Sending the Godfather to Diana and Dominick into the ignited stack of juice boxes.
"Aaaaagghhhh!!"
Shoving away from the flames, Cashe hits the ground, his clothes and skin had luckily been wet from the kiddie pool. He didn't burn too much but he felt the heat and there were a few sizzled ends on his beard. It was a scene in itself seeing Cashe slap himself to stop his beard from burning.
"I'VE ALERTED THE AUTHORITIES!"
The woman from before, the one Austin called Karen. She was out on her front porch with a phone in hand, holding it up to prove she had called. Austin, getting up from his dropkick, turns to her and points sternly in her direction. "I will END you, you old bat!"
The look on her face was highly offended. She scoffed and hurried inside, probably to call the cops for a second time. "Toddy is waiting for a reason to beat that bitch with a flip flop.." Austin asks as he turns back to Cashe and finds that Cashe has shot up from the ground and is running at him with a rising growl to his snarling expression. "Ohh heeeey, wait!"
Colliding into Austin, the two shove around as Cashe drives Austin back. Going to lift Austin, Cashe fails to do so as another elbow drives down into Cashe's upper spine. He drops to a knee. Austin peels Cashe's head back and crashes a short armed punch to his face. A second thuds against his forehead, a third against his left eyebrow.
"GRRRRRAAAAAAGGGH!"
Cashe roars, using his feral strength to lift Austin up and rush him to a nearby car parked alongside the curbside. Cashe slams Austin down over the hood. The metal bends inward as Austin gasses and the air from his lungs empties. Climbing up onto the hood, Cashe stands up and drops down over Austin with an elbow drop. Austin uses the momentum and rolls Cashe back over in a crucifix, letting him fall back and tumble off the car, landing on the concrete.
Getting up in a hurry, Jason Cashe cracks Austin to the eye with a thundering hook. Grabbing the Head Doe and dragging him halfway off the hood of the vehicle. Pounding down into Austin's chest with clubbing blows, a few landed flush before Cashe lifts and slams Austin hard onto his back against the unforgiving street.
It was then that you heard the police sirens.
There was a whole neighborhood of observers. Watching the fight take place, some were cheering while a few had their phones out recording the Worldstar, Tiktok, Facebook Live quality moment. A fire truck was also approaching, the two different sounds of sirens came onto the scene faster than expected.
That didn't stop the two from fighting. "Get up! We ain't done!" Cashe demands as he gives Austin space to get to his feet. Cashe with his hands hung low, was ready to swing. Austin clenched his fists and the two were back to boxing.
Cashe throws a jab, it hits air.
Austin lunges forward with an overhand but Cashe ducks under it, catching Austin with a quick one, two to each side of his ribs. Austin immediately locks Cashe in a front headlock and drills away with massive hooks to the body. Shoving himself free, Cashe pops up with a jab, jab, straight combo that catches Austin to the face and stumbles him. Austin shakes the daze away and leaps up with a Superman punch that puts some wobble to Cashe upon landing.
"FREEZE!" An Officer shouts as he moves in closer. In his hand wasn't a gun though, it looked like a gun but was yellow and black. Clearly a stun gun. Neither Cashe nor Austin paid the PoPo any attention.
Instead, they both threw a huge right haymaker and both connected causing stumble in them both like it was coordinated. Their knees buckle from the shot but both manage to stay standing. The cop is joined by his partner as the Fire Truck pulls up ready to attack the fire blazing in the middle of the street.
"This is the Jersey-Manhattan Police Department! This is your last warning!" Both cops take aim, both with their stun guns out, ready to use them.
Austin and Cashe lock up in a grapple. The snapping was heard first but only seconds before the electricity was felt. Both Cops shot their stun guns and both Austin and Cashe were hit as they latched onto the other, still in a grapple.
"Aaahh aaahh aaahhh!"
The jolting cries from both men were masked only by the fire fighters that were scrambling to get the fire put out. They didn't turn their siren off so even the Police warnings were probably muffled. Could make the argument that neither Cashe or Austin heard them to begin with. Not that it mattered, the cops held down the electricity until both men were on the ground and both went unconscious.
The fight was over..
Everything seemed much quieter when Cashe snapped awake. He was still laying on the street and instantly, he felt like he was going to throw up. Looking around, he found Austin leaning up against the car where they had been earlier. Todrick was at his side. Cashe wobbled as he tried to get to his feet but he couldn't collect the strength to get up. A police officer was standing nearby. He offered up some advice.
"You might want to stay down until the EMT can check on you."
The cop was nice about it but with Cashe, the response was blurted out with no hesitation. "Fudge you, porkskin."
"The Fudge did you just say to be, you grown ass Hoodlum!?" Taking a step towards Cashe with a hand on a nightstick, the cop was ready to put Cashe back to sleep. In no way was Cashe prepared to fight the police right now. Luckily, Todrick came to the rescue.
"Officer!" She said with a snapping voice. "I think they've been through enough. Let's not add Police Brutality to things, ok?"
It was like nobody was willing to argue with Todrick. At least to her face. She had that gift of god fearing in her voice and if you were on her bad side? Oohhh weeee.. Not a good place to be. "Yeah! What she said!" Cashe tried to pile on but was quickly slapped upside the head.
"You'll shut the hell up!" There was that voice. Very intimidating.
"Where is Josslynn?" Cashe asked, not having seen her among the crowd of people. There was an Ambulance, a fire truck, and a few police cars. Neighbors lining the sidewalks as if a shooting had taken place. Nowhere did he see Josslynn.
"She's inside the house with the twins. You know how she is with the Police.." Todrick informs him like he wasn't aware of that. He knew but given the circumstance, he expected her to be there. "Here comes the paramedic. After that, you and this fool over here are going inside and we are going to work this out!"
Sighing. Cashe was still a little off from the fight and being tased unconscious. Austin didn't seem any better off. Todrick kicks Cashe so he acknowledges her. "You hear me?"
"I gotta go to Thad's.. He is making Fried Chicken!" Cashe winces as the Paramedic kneels down and begins checking him for any trauma. Another EMT was over with Austin.
"Jason? Don't make me hurt you.." Todrick just shakes her head, disappointed but not really surprised. Maybe a bit infuriated at both of them.
"So.. Are we getting arrested?" Slapping away a light that the EMT is flashing in his eyes, Cashe reaffirms his plans. "I don't want to miss out on some Fried Chicken, I'm really hungry.."
"Ohh my gawd!" Todrick growls as she moves away from Cashe before she is forced to hurt him.
