Several years ago...
At Electric City Wrestling School...
"Sit-down kid," Duke Jupiter said, looking up from his desk with a lit cigar poking out of the side of his mouth.
Young Jeremy just stood there a few steps inside the doorway.
"Fine then, just stand and look Fudgeing stupid, I guess…" Duke was puffing on his stogie and breathing the smoke out from the side of his mouth.
"Even though, until now... I we never met, I know who you are, Uncle Duke. I've seen all of your Electric City matches. I remember you smoking something else than a cigar though," Young Jeremy replied.
"Oh right, you're surprised I'm not smoking a joint of the finest kush known to man right now. You're surprised I'm not puffing on a fatty, huh Bub? For starters, your pops and I…"
"He's NOT my Father," Jeremy interjected.
"My brother, Tom Jupiter, your pops, whether you like it or not… your pops sent you here with me and he's never been a fan of me being such a stoner. So I assured him, there will be nothing of the sort happening here these next couple of weeks. And, to be honest, the days of the Acid King in the way Axl Slade meant it are long gone and believe it or not, being completely trashed inside a wrestling ring, is not really all it's cracked up to be after the hundredth time, on top of it being highly illegal. So I'm not the prolific stoner I once was.
Now, your mother and father sent you here so I can teach you how to wrestle but to tame that temper of yours. I have a feeling though, that he might have just sent you here so I can kick your ass a bit. Which, I'm going to do.
Jeremy, you think you're tough, you think your bad ass, you think you can treat my brother and his wife like Poop. You are about to learn a few things.
Now, go on… Ava is going to get your set up in your sleeping quarters."
Jeremy just stood there while Duke shuffled some papers around.
"Well…" Duke looked back up at him.
"Get the Fudge out of here! Training starts early tomorrow morning."
Jeremy said nothing as he turned around and exited the office.
To be continued…
